(St. Thomas) The U.S. Virgin Islands officially reopened its doors for leisure tourism on June 1st.
Visitors will be able to visit St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix and Water Island.
The United States Virgin Islands is positioned to lead the way as the first island closed to welcome back guests. We look forward to having visitors back in the Virgin Islands, and are grateful to everyone choosing to visit us in America’s Caribbean. We’ve all developed a real need to travel these last few months.
Visitors to the territory will be able to visit beaches, shops and restaurants. Popular attractions such as the St. John National Park, Magens Bay Beach, Coki Beach, Coral World, Downtown Charlotte Amalie, and more will be open for visitors.
While the British Virgin Islands will remain closed until September, there will still be plenty of things to do in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Cruise ships are expected to return to the territory in August.
Bolongo Bay reopens July 1st and we’re continuing our preparations for the return of guests and our co-workers. Enjoy your stay and everything the Virgin Islands has to offer.
We encourage you to make the most out of your visit. Please make sure you pay attention, recognize and adhere to the safety measures our islands have taken to keep you and residents safe, such as observing mask-wearing guidelines in public places.
